Application for Job Search Mentorship Program

Section I: Calendar

Weekly Calendar

Section II: Short Answer Responses

  1. Why do you want mentoring in the job search?
  • To have someone that has been though the process before that I can ask job specific questions to in order to help me throughout my job search. It would be great if they could help me decided whether or not a job would be worth my time to apply.
  1. How will you hold yourself accountable to balancing time for your job search and following your mentor and group's advice?
  • By setting daily and weekly goals for where I would like to be in the job process, I would like to have a certain number of applications sent out by Monday of each week. I am still determining what the best number will be.
  1. What is the focus of your job search (timeline, ideal job, steps you’ve already taken)? Be as specific as you can.
  • My goal is to find a suitable job before the end of mod 4. I will not settle for a job that isnt right, but I am pretty flexible about the requirements that I am seeking. I have found potential opportunities in Denver and Nashville but am still working on getting my applications where they need to be.
