Strange. You have same error with gist I posted?
No, the gist you posted works for me.
Oh, I read doesn't fix the problem
instead does...
Alternatively, you can replate the CGI::escapeHTML calls with htmlize to get some basic html escaping.

Very odd. Dropping the cgi requirement does indeed fix the problem.
