 Hey, just wanted to give you a quick heads-up. Everything’s pretty routine on my end, but I’m currently involved in a custody matter outside of work—just working toward joint custody of my kids.

 It hasn’t impacted my work at all, and it won’t. There may occasionally be a court hearing I’ll need to attend, but since I work fully remote, I always make sure all deliverables are handled either before or after.

 I do have an upcoming court date that hasn’t been confirmed yet, but I’ll let you know as soon as I have that info—just so it’s on your radar. It’s not an ongoing thing, just here and there when something comes up.
