DaVinci Resolve seems a professional one. But still considered. Tested version 16 in normal laptop (8 core, 16gb) without dedicated graphics card. But it is crashing.

Editors considered but removed from list

  • LightWorks - As the export is limited to 720P in free mode.
  • Filmora - Has watermark in free version export.
  • HitFilm Express
    • Doesn't support MKV files as input
    • Basic features such as adding Text required paid version
