Updating a feature branch

First we'll update your local master branch. Go to your local project and check out the branch you want to merge into (your local master branch)

$ git checkout master

Fetch the remote, bringing the branches and their commits from the remote repository. You can use the -p, --prune option to delete any remote-tracking references that no longer exist in the remote. Commits to master will be stored in a local branch, remotes/origin/master

Overview of Python Virtual Environments

When you're working on multiple coding projects, you might want a couple different version of Python and/or modules installed. This helps keep each workflow in its own sandbox instead of trying to juggle multiple projects (each with different dependencies) on your system's version of Python. Nature.com archive statistics

Nature.com is a large publisher of scientific and scholarly articles.

Since 2012, it has been making available free of charge the metadata for its entire archive (~1M items).

These charts summarize how many articles are availabe and how they are distributed over time.
