# Template: Module 4 Action Plan

## Module 4 Goals
*List your longterm goal(s) of what you want to accomplish by the end of module 4*
- Have a job
- Feel confident in my coding ability 
- Have a solid network built up 

### Strategy To Achieve Goals:
In this section, break down your longterm goal into smaller goals that you want to work on each week and/or day
- Reach out to companies I like
- Find people in the industry to grab a coffee or drink with 
- Utilize connections made 
- Apply for jobs
- Go to networking events 
- Setup at least three informational interviews 

#### Coding (both including your module 4 curriculum and anything outside of it):
*How will you focus your learning to accomplish your longterm goal?*
- Do more tutorials
- Codewars
- Practice interview questions (whiteboarding as well) 
- Maybe start a blog? 

#### Opportunities Research:
*How will you continue researching companies and contacts? How will you utilize your Trello Board?* 
I will utize my connections, LinkedIn, mentor, and cold calls.
I will use my trello board to keep me accountable and track of my outreaches so I can follow up.

#### Cold Outreach/Network:
*Who will you reach out to? Have you considered talking with alumni about their own networking practices when they started their job search?
Mentor, alumni, connections from previous job, family friends. 

#### Personal Branding *(A personal branding section is optional)*:
*How might personal branding pieces help you towards your goal?*
To help me stand out as well as utilize my graphic design background to make me a unique candidate as well as for thanking people for their time. 

### Timeline:
*What will you do when?*
I will reach out to people over the break and begin cold calling and company research.
I will then move onto asking for meetups with people and informational interviews.
Then I will begin to apply for jobs and if I want to stand out if I have no contacts send out a leave-behind piece to make me stand out.

Continue to learn, work hard on my projects, get more involved with the mods below. 

#### Weekly Tasks:
*What will you do throughout each week?*
Take it upon myself to learn ux/ui and css based stuff. 
Continue to do tutorials on things I am not fully confident with.
Practice whiteboarding to impress at any interview. 
Mock interview questions with anyone who has the time to critique me.

It would be nice to do a mock interview that isn't based on the whiteboarding part of it. 
Look over/critique my site, resume, and linkedin before I begin to apply.
