find overflow:hidden ancestors
// when you're trying to use `position:sticky` on an element
// you'll have trouble if any parent/ancestor element has
// overflow set to anything other than "visible" (such as: auto,hidden,overlay,scroll)
// & turns out if a parent is `display:flex` it might need some love
// (to remedy this you can set the `align-self` of your sticky element)
// see here for how the display & align-self properties affect: http://bit.ly/2ZaRu4o
// so, to find those troublesome parents...
// copy & paste this into Chrome Inspector/Dev Tools console
// (and be sure to change the #stickyElement below, if needed)

A more readable and annotated version of the Javascript groupBy from Ceasar Bautista (https://stackoverflow.com/a/34890276/1376063)
var groupBy = function(data, key) { // `data` is an array of objects, `key` is the key (or property accessor) to group by
// reduce runs this anonymous function on each element of `data` (the `item` parameter,
// returning the `storage` parameter at the end
return data.reduce(function(storage, item) {
// get the first instance of the key by which we're grouping
var group = item[key];
// set `storage` for this instance of group to the outer scope (if not empty) or initialize it
storage[group] = storage[group] || [];

Add custom git command (Windows)

Creating a custom git command in Windows

  1. create a cmd/bat file with the command. E.g. retag.cmd, save it in C:\git-scripts for example

  2. add your git commands to the file. For example, this set of commands deletes the specified tag from your current branch both locally and remotely, then tags it with the same tag and pushes the change remotely

    git tag -d %1

    git push origin :refs/tags/%1

Squarespace Breakpoints.
/**
Squarespace essentially doesn't really document their breakpoints.
This can be quite annoying to not have when doing custom CSS.
Most themes use essentially one breakpoint. Mobile and not mobile; anything 750 and below is considered mobile.
You can use these to write your own CSS and simply use the "Style Editor" to inject your compiled CSS in the event
you are not using "Developer Mode" in your site.
Enjoy!
